Biometric identity verification that actually works.
NFC passport chip reading combined with certified biometric liveness detection. Not a document photo. Not a selfie against a database. A cryptographic proof that the person is who their government says they are, in under 5 minutes, from any smartphone.

Why NFC is different
The chip doesn't lie. A photo can.
Document photo checks compare an image of an ID against a selfie. That approach is vulnerable to printed photos, deepfake injections, and high-quality forgeries. NFC chip reading extracts a government-signed cryptographic proof from the document's chip, a proof that cannot be forged without the issuing government's private key.
Cryptographic extraction
The NFC chip in every biometric passport contains data signed by the issuing government's key. WeVerify reads and verifies this signature, confirming the document is genuine without storing any biometric image.
Zero raw biometric storage
Raw biometric data never leaves the user's device. WeVerify holds only the cryptographic proof of the verification result. This is structural GDPR compliance, not a policy decision.
Liveness certification
The biometric selfie match is combined with ISO 30107-3 Level 2 compliant liveness detection. Tested and certified against deepfakes, replay attacks, silicone masks, and digital injection.
Global passport ecosystem
Compatible with 190+ countries including all EU member states, UK, US, Turkey, and most of Africa and MENA. Supports passports, national ID cards, and residence permits with biometric chips.
Reusable verification
A verified identity can be reused across multiple services and sessions. Returning users are not asked to re-verify, they present their cryptographic proof, which is checked against the original.
Evidence bundle output
Each verification produces a timestamped, tamper-proof evidence bundle: verification result, document type, issuing country, confidence score, liveness result, and session reference, exportable for your case management or compliance system.
